Eight candidates have submitted their names to run for four seats on the Hinsdale Township High School District 86 Board of Education in the 2013 election.
Three of the candidates—Dennis Brennan, Kay Gallo and DeeDee Gorgol—are sitting board members, while the other five—Victor Casini, Ed Corcoran, Roger Kempa, Claudia Manley and Roseanne Rosenthal—would be newcomers.
Two slates have emerged in the race. One includes Brennan, Gallo, Gorgol and Rosenthal. The other includes Casini, Corcoran and Manley.
Early voting begins March 25. Election Day is April 9.
