On September 11, students, faculty, and staff of Concord School in Darien held its eleventh annual "Patriotic Remembrance Assembly."
Faculty, students and staff joined together to remember the brave men and women who have helped to protect and currently protect the country’s freedom.
Concord students, dressed in red, white, and blue, sang “The Star Spangled Banner”, “You’re a Grand Old Flag”, “America”, “We, the Children of America” which includes (“America the Beautiful”), “This Land is Your Land” (where the faculty and staff sing the verses), “Celebrate America” and “Americans All. The “Allegiance Rap” was lead by the Concord Junior Chorus.
Students also performed “The Constitution Rap” in honor of “Constitution Day” on September 17.
