Neighbor Becomes Peeping Tom
A female at her home on the 800 block of Chanticleer Lane reported that someone was looking through a window at her on May 14 while she was partially undressed. The female recognized the suspect as William Drew Daniel, 28, who lives on the same block, police said.
Police at 8:39 p.m. quickly located Daniel at his home. He was charged with disorderly conduct and released to appear in court.

Marijuana Mommy
A 25-year-old woman is headed to court after she was found with marijuana blunts and texting while driving with her baby in Downers Grove, police said.
Lauren Iacovella, of the first block of Redstart Road, Naperville, was charged with possession of cannabis 30 grams and under. She also received a ticket for texting behind the wheel during the incident, which occurred at 3:49 p.m. May 21.
Since Iacovella had her two-year-old toddler in the car with her at the time, an officer asked her to follow him to the Downers Grove Police Department to be processed after an initial traffic stop. She agreed. Read the full story on this incident.

Police "Reward" 2 Men For Fake Fight
Joseph Jeffery Hlatko, 51, of the 200 block of South 2nd Street, and Christopher Kuhn, 30, of the 1700 block of Covington Court, were each cited at 12:48 a.m. May 19 on the 100 block of West Main Street with disorderly conduct-public drunkenness. Police were called to the scene by a passer-by, who reported two men were fighting. Ganja’s Gotta Go, and So Do You
A man told police he was visiting his girlfriend and had just smoked park of a joint at 1:56 p.m. May 12 in one of the train commuter lots in the village, according to a report. The responding officer destroyed the other part of the joint on the tracks. The man was warned and sent on a train to Union Station.

You’re Going to School, No Matter What
A disturbance took place in the 900 block of Park Street between a mother and her son, according to a report filed around 9:21 a.m. May 10. The young man was refusing to go to school and was subsequently transported to Batavia High School without further incident, reports said.

No Need to Be Rude
An employee asked a person who was illegally parked in a private lot of a business to leave on the 15W400 block of 59th Street. The person threatened the employee and left the scene at 3:41 p.m. May 3 without further incident. The employee contacted police because he wanted the incident documented.
